Rethinking the bedroom

More than a coat of paint: a room that works better.

Modernizing an older bedroom means addressing spatial flow, storage, and environmental comfort — not just cosmetic trim.

  • Master suite conversions. Combining adjacent rooms into an expansive wing with a lounge alcove.
  • Custom walk-in closets. Built-in, space-saving storage that maximizes square footage.
  • Multi-generational adaptations. Wider doors, seamless entries, and privacy layouts for aging family.

Questions, answered

Bedroom & suite questions, answered

How much does a bedroom remodel cost on Oʻahu?

Bedroom projects start at $15,000, priced through our three tiers — Beautiful, Impressive, Exquisite — so you know the scope before we begin. The $250 on-site consultation is credited to your project on contract.

Can you convert bedrooms into a primary suite?

A primary-suite plan can include new storage, built-ins, finishes, and nonbearing partition changes within our C-5 scope. If a wall may be load-bearing, or the plan includes plumbing, electrical, or another regulated trade, the appropriately licensed professional and any permit responsibility must be identified before work begins.

Can you add a closet or a walk-in closet to a bedroom?

We can. Whether it's a reach-in for a room that never had proper storage or a full walk-in built into a suite, we frame, finish, and outfit it to match the room — a natural part of our bedroom and suite work.

How long does a bedroom remodel take?

A straightforward bedroom refresh is one of our faster projects; a full master-suite conversion with new walls, a closet, and an en-suite takes longer. Either way, you get a real start date that we hold — the same scheduling discipline we brought out of the USMC and USAF.

Can you turn a den or extra room into a legal bedroom?

A room must meet the applicable code requirements to be represented as a bedroom, which can involve egress and work outside our C-5 scope. During planning, we identify likely DPP needs and the appropriately licensed professional responsible for each regulated part.
