PHASE 1
Whole-Home Assessment
$250 on-site consultation covering every room in scope — credited back to your project on contract.

A coordinated renovation plan for the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and the spaces between them. Island Contractors performs its C-5 remodeling scope and documents the appropriately licensed professional responsible for every other regulated part of the work.
Coordinated remodeling, explained
One project plan keeps layouts, selections, scheduling, and responsibilities visible. Before demolition, the written scope identifies Island Contractors' C-5 work and every separately licensed trade or permit the project needs.

How a whole-home remodel runs
PHASE 1
$250 on-site consultation covering every room in scope — credited back to your project on contract.
PHASE 2
Room-by-room layouts, materials, and tiers locked in writing, with the sequence and start date agreed.
PHASE 3
Likely DPP needs and each licensed professional's responsibility documented; trades sequenced around the room plan.
PHASE 4
Sealed work zones, daily cleanup, one project lead, and a meticulous walkthrough of the finished home.
Where we work
Questions, answered
It's priced room by room through the same three published tiers — Beautiful, Impressive, Exquisite. A kitchen starts at $35,000, a bathroom at $25,000, and a bedroom at $15,000, so a whole-home scope reflects the rooms, materials, site conditions, permit needs, and separately licensed trades involved. You see the written scope before committing.
Bathrooms often run 7–15 days each, complex primary suites 3–4 weeks, and kitchens vary with cabinetry, layout, trades, materials, and permit timing. Coordinated sequencing under one project plan keeps the overall schedule easier to follow.
Our design-build process covers layout planning, material selection, and the C-5 remodeling work we are licensed to perform. If the plan calls for engineering, an architect, or another regulated trade, the written scope identifies the appropriately licensed professional and their responsibility before work begins.
Often, in phases — we seal off work zones and sequence the rooms so a bathroom and the kitchen aren't both out of service at once. Some full-gut projects are faster and less expensive with the house empty; we'll tell you which yours is at the consultation, not after demolition.
Permit needs depend on the exact scope. We identify likely City & County of Honolulu DPP permits during planning and document who is responsible. Any plumbing, electrical, structural, or other work outside our C-5 classification must be handled and permitted by the appropriately licensed professional.
