Starting prices assume normal access to the room and the scope we write together. Older Oʻahu homes keep secrets: dated wiring, a slow leak under the tile, termite damage. A licensed plumber handles any plumbing and a licensed electrician the wiring, and both are named in your written scope before we start. If a discovery, a permit, or that trade work changes the number, you see it in writing and approve it before we continue.

Why do you publish your prices when most contractors won't?
Because you deserve a real number before you invite anyone into your home. Kitchens start at $35,000, bathrooms at $25,000, and bedrooms at $15,000, in three tiers: Beautiful, Impressive, and Exquisite. The same tiers and the same numbers appear on every page of this site and in your written scope. Published pricing saves you time, keeps us honest, and lets you plan with your family at the kitchen table instead of guessing.
Is the on-site consultation free?
The on-site consultation is $250, and every dollar of it is credited back to your project when you sign a contract. It buys a real visit: someone walks your kitchen or bathroom with you, takes measurements, listens to how your household uses the room, and checks the things that affect price, like access and what's behind the walls. You leave with a clear next step. If you'd rather start by touching materials, come see Jessica at the Kapolei showroom, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
How do payments work?
In steps, as the work gets done. Your written scope lays out the milestones of your project, and you pay at each milestone as it's reached, so what you've paid always lines up with what's been built. The payment schedule is spelled out in your contract before you sign, and nothing on it changes unless you approve a written change order first. What can change the final price?
Three things, and none of them lands on you as a surprise. First, what's hiding behind the walls of an older Oʻahu home: old wiring, tired plumbing, moisture, or termite damage you can't see until the tile comes off. Second, a permit, if your plan needs one from the City and County. Third, any plumbing or electrical work the project turns out to need. Whatever we find, you get a written change order with the new price, and nothing extra happens until you approve it.
Can I mix tiers between rooms?
Yes. Every category on the materials list, from countertops to cabinet hardware to flooring, can sit at a different level, and so can each room. You might put Exquisite cabinetry in the kitchen where everyone gathers every night and keep the hall bathroom at Beautiful. Jessica helps you sort out where a step up will actually change your day, and where it won't. The tier and price for each room go into your written scope before we start.
