What we build
Cabinets, closets, and built-ins, made to fit your room.
Kitchen cabinets and islands. Bathroom vanities. Closets and built-ins. Entertainment walls and bookcases. Trim and millwork. If it's made of wood and has to fit a wall, a corner, or the way your family uses a room, we can build it. Fully custom pieces come out of our own workshop in Kapolei; stock and semi-custom lines come from the same three tiers you'll see on the pricing page.
- Built in our Kapolei workshop. Our Kapolei office has a workshop where we build cabinets, built-ins, and millwork to your room's measurements, so a pantry can run to the ceiling and a vanity can fit that odd corner instead of the other way around.
- Designed with you at the showroom. Designer Jessica sets the door styles, wood species, paint and stain samples, and hardware side by side at the showroom, so you choose from real pieces, not a catalog page.
- Installed by the same team. Cabinets, millwork, and carpentry are what Hawaiʻi C-5 License CT-37515 covers, and the people who plan yours are the people who hang them. Anything outside that is named in your written scope before we start, so nothing gets figured out mid-install.

Built in our Kapolei workshop
Your cabinets, built-ins, or millwork are built to your room in the workshop at our Kapolei office, with the door style, wood, and finish you chose at the showroom.
STEP 3
Installed by the same team
The same team that designed your cabinets with you installs them, levels and scribes them to your walls, sets the doors and drawers, and walks the room with you before we call it done.

Beautiful
Stock lines, chosen well
Quality stock cabinetry from in-stock and builder-series lines: framed boxes, laminate or thermofoil doors in Shaker or slab styles, and a set range of colors and woodgrains. We help you pick the right line for your room, then fit and install it cleanly in the layout you have now.
Impressive
Semi-custom, plywood boxes, soft-close
Semi-custom lines (KraftMaid, Yorktowne, and Diamond are typical of the grade, not a fixed catalog): plywood boxes, framed or frameless, full-extension soft-close dovetail drawers, painted MDF or maple Shaker doors, and a wide paint and stain range. More sizes and inserts, so the kitchen or closet fits the way you use it.
Exquisite
Fully custom, built in our workshop
Furniture-grade plywood boxes, inset doors, floor-to-ceiling runs, and custom species and veneers like white oak or walnut, hand-painted or color-matched to your home. Built in our Kapolei workshop to the inch, with soft-close throughout and lighting and organization built in.
Built for island weather
Cabinets that don't mind the humidity.
Oʻahu is humid, the air near the coast carries salt, and termites are part of life here. Damp air swells and warps wood that isn't sealed, and termites go after anything soft and untreated. So we think about the climate before the door style: materials that hold their shape in island air, finishes that seal the edges you'll never see, and a little room for the wood to breathe. If we find termite or moisture damage behind an old cabinet, you hear about it before we go further, with your options in writing.

Do you build the cabinets yourselves, or buy them?
Both, and your tier decides which. Fully custom cabinetry, our Exquisite tier, is built in our own Kapolei workshop: furniture-grade plywood boxes, inset doors, the wood species you choose, and every piece sized to the wall it's going on. Semi-custom cabinetry, our Impressive tier, comes from established lines in plywood boxes with soft-close drawers, and the Beautiful tier uses quality stock cabinetry in the layout you have now. Whichever you choose, the same team designs it with you, installs it, and stands behind it.
Can you match or refinish the cabinets I already have?
Often, yes. If you're adding a pantry run, an island, or a built-in and want it to blend in, we can build the new pieces in our workshop to match your existing door style and finish. Whether matching, refinishing, or replacing makes the most sense depends on the boxes themselves: older particleboard cabinets that have taken on moisture usually aren't worth saving, and we'll tell you so. Bring a door to the showroom, or show us at the consultation, and you'll get a straight answer.
How long does a cabinet project take?
It depends on what's being built and how much of the room changes around it. A cabinet-only job, like a new vanity, a closet, or a built-in, is shorter than a full kitchen, where cabinetry, counters, and the licensed trades share one schedule. Custom pieces need shop time before they're installed, and stock and semi-custom lines ship across the ocean, so lead time is part of the plan from the start. Before anything begins, you get the start date and the schedule in writing for your specific scope, and if a date moves, you hear it from us first.
Can I hire you just for cabinets, without a full remodel?
Yes. New kitchen cabinets, a bathroom vanity, a closet system, an entertainment wall, or a run of bookcases are all projects on their own, and cabinet, millwork, and carpentry work is exactly what our C-5 license covers. If the job touches plumbing or wiring, say a new vanity that moves the sink, the licensed plumber or electrician for that part is named in your written scope. What wood and finishes hold up on Oʻahu?
Plywood boxes over particleboard, because particleboard swells when it takes on moisture and Oʻahu's air is never really dry. Doors finished on every side, not just the face, so humidity can't work into the wood from behind. For inset doors, white oak and walnut are the two species on our Exquisite tier, and hardware that shrugs off salt air matters most in Windward and beach homes. Termites are a fact of life here, so before cabinets go in we look at the framing behind them and put anything we find in writing, never in a surprise charge. Plywood boxes are part of both the Impressive and Exquisite tiers.
