Who handles the permits for a Honolulu renovation?
It's settled in writing before you sign, not after. Cabinetry, millwork and carpentry, including nonbearing partition changes, fall under our C-5 license. Plumbing is done and permitted by a licensed plumber, wiring by a licensed electrician, and anything structural by the contractor licensed for it. Who does what, and who is responsible for each permit at DPP, is written into your scope before work starts. No gray areas, no surprises at inspection.
How much does a kitchen remodel cost in Honolulu?
Honolulu kitchens start at $35,000 for the Beautiful tier, $45,000 for Impressive, and $65,000 and up for Exquisite, with premium cabinet selections and surfaces. Older Honolulu homes sometimes hide dated plumbing or termite damage behind the walls, so we look carefully before we price and put what we find in writing. The pricing matrix shows exactly what each tier includes. A $250 on-site consultation is credited back to your project on contract.
